As of January 1st, 2023 for many reasons, we had to make a very tough decision to close the shop and move most of our inventory into storage. We are no longer accepting any repairs, commissions, or hosting any more classes. Feel free to browse around our portfolio here. Come summer time, we anticipate having some limited capacity to work on some smaller jobs and have an up-to-date inventory list of art pieces available for purchase. Need supplies for your own stained glass endeavors? We will also be selling many full sheets, partial sheets, and bins of scrap glass available upon request.

Who We Are
Hi! We are Dustin and Kara, owners of Woodstock Stained Glass. Together using our combined strengths, we work as a team on all our projects. With over 12 years of experience in both traditional stained glass and modern fused glass techniques, we're passionate about this rare and unique art form and we're eager to share that excitement with the world from our little shop here in Woodstock, New York.

Our goals are simple - provide the area with the best quality custom stained glass design, repair, and installation experience, and make sure our students enjoy all aspects of our classes. While we’re dedicated to producing our own art and expanding our potential through this ancient medium of glass, we’re also devoted to bringing the artist out in all our students. Offering classes to adults, teens and children in both group settings and private lessons, theres something for everyone. We strive to instill creativity and teach form and function to all artists and newbies that come to Woodstock Stained Glass seeking a fun, informative, and well rounded artistic experience.

Fused Pendants
Family friendly 1-hr workshop

Experience something new in Woodstock! Explore your crafty side by yourself, with friends, or family and create your own unique glass jewelry! Or, turn your piece into a magnet, wine stopper, earrings, or key-chain. In less than 2 hours, you can walk away with a timeless piece of art to remember your trip to Woodstock. Projects made today will be fired and available for pick up the following day or arrangements for shipping can be made.

Stained Glass for Beginners
2-day Comprehensive Workshop
$500.00
We will walk you through how to complete a 12x12” leaded stained glass window as well as a small 6” copper foil protect. Students can choose from a variety of templates and colors for both projects. The class is from 9am-5pm (with a 1hr. break for lunch) for two consecutive days, usually a Saturday/Sunday. Space is limited, max capacity is 4 students per session.

Stained Glass Painting
Advanced Workshop

This class is for those of you interested in taking your stained glass or canvas painting art to the next level. By learning the traditional stained glass painting methods that have been used since the medieval ages, you can learn to paint figures, faces, shapes, shadows and more, adding depth and complexity to your stained glass panels. Class sizes are kept small in order to ensure each participant gets enough attention from the instructor.

Fusing 101 for Beginners

If you have always been fond of glass jewelry, bowls, and sculptures, but making stained glass seems too rigid, precise, and restrictive, this class is for you! Get creative and let the artistry flow for this 6-8 hour workshop where we walk you through how to make 2 pendants, 2 coasters, a slumped dish, and a picture frame. Our best valued class.
